What is Salvation?
The followimg text is referenced from:
https://www.gotquestions.org/way-of-salvation.html
Are you hungry? Not physically hungry, but do you have a hunger for something more in life? Is there something deep inside of you that never seems to be satisfied? If so, Jesus is the way! Jesus said, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty" (John 6:35).

Are you confused? Can you never seem to find a path or purpose in life?
Do you ever feel like you are locked out of life?
Do other people always let you down?
Have your relationships been shallow and empty?
Do you wonder what happens after this life?

The reason you feel hungry, the reason you seem to be lost in darkness, the reason you cannot find meaning in life, is that you are separated from God.

How can this problem be solved? Jesus is the way of salvation! Jesus took our sin upon Himself (2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus died in our place (Romans 5:8), taking the punishment that we deserve. Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead, proving His victory over sin and death (Romans 6:4-5).

Why did He do it? Jesus answered that question Himself: "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends" (John 15:13). Jesus died so that we could live.

If we place our faith in Jesus, trusting His death as the payment for our sins, all of our sins are forgiven and washed away. We will then have our spiritual hunger satisfied. The lights will be turned on. We will have access to a fulfilling life. We will know our true best friend and good shepherd. We will know that we will have life after we die, a resurrected life in heaven for eternity with Jesus!

This new home is better than what we could ever imagine for ourselves, it's everything God imagines for us. So hold on and stay focused on the Lord, the best is yet to come. Our hope is to be with our Lord and Savior in our new and final destination that He is preparing for us...forever in His presence with our loved ones that have gone to be with Him.

Revelation 21:1-5
All Things Made New
21 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.
2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.
4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."
5 Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful."

Romans Road to Salvation

These Scriptures will show you WHY you need a Savior
and how you can go about being Saved and finding Salvation.
These are The Verses from the Book of Romans in the Holy Bible, Easy-to-Read Version (ERV) at Bible Gateway. You can go to the Bible Gateway main page and select a different version of the Bible if you wish.

1. We are all sinners (Romans 3:10 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV) & Romans 3:23 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)).

10 As the Scriptures say, "There is no one doing what is right, not even one.

23 All have sinned and are not good enough to share God's divine greatness.

2. The wages of our sins is death (Romans. 6:23 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)).

23 When people sin, they earn what sin pays-death. But God gives his people a free gift-eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

3. Jesus paid our sin debt on the cross (Romans 5:8 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)).

8 But Christ died for us while we were still sinners, and by this God showed how much he loves us.

4. Salvation comes by faith, that is, by confessing with our mouths and believing in our hearts
(Romans 10:9 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV) & Romans 10:10 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)).

9 If you openly say, "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised him from death, you will be saved.

10 Yes, we believe in Jesus deep in our hearts, and so we are made right with God. And we openly say that we believe in him, and so we are saved.

5. Call on the Lord for salvation and get saved (Romans 10:13 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV))

13 Yes, "everyone who trusts in the Lord will be saved."

How can we be sure we are Forgiven and Saved
and Know for sure that we are going to Heaven?
Jesus has shown us how easy it is to be Forgiven and Saved. It is explained to us in the Book of Luke.

Luke 23:32 There were also two others, criminals, led with Him to be put to death.

Luke 23:33 And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left.

Luke 23:34 Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do."

Luke 23:39 Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, "If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us."

Luke 23:40 But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, "Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?

Luke 23:41 And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong."

Luke 23:42 Then he said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom."

Luke 23:43 And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise."

WOW, did you see that?

The criminal on the cross, before he dies is Forgiven and Saved and is with Jesus right now in Heaven enjoying Life for the rest of Eternity.

How did he do it?
1. He admitted he was a sinner and confessed of his sins.
Luke 23:40 But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, "Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?
Luke 23:41 And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong."

2. He went and turned to Jesus and confessed (believed) that He (Jesus) as the Lord.
Luke 23:42 Then he said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom."

3. Then we find in a matter of seconds the criminal is forgiven of his sins (all wrongdoings) and has been given Eternal Life with Jesus in Heaven.
Luke 23:43 And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise."
